I want to figure out the numbering once and for all. So, let's say I have a password that is used to get into forums that "Require Phase 3 access." So, since this password gives access to phase 3, is it the phase 3 password or the phase 2 password? I would think it's the phase 2 password, since it's the password that I got from phase 2.

In general, once you solve Phase X, you can enter the forum that requires Phase X + 1 access.

Example: once you solve Phase 2, you can enter the forum that requires Phase 3 access.

So basically what you said in the second part of the original post. I was a little confused by this as well, but then it all made sense.

When you get into the section that reads "Phase 3 access required" you are now on phase 3. You'll see different examples in the later phases where it will be spelled out for more clearly, provided you know where to go.

I understand how it may be a bit confusing but my original thinking was that to access the forum with Phase X, you would need phase X access. (Logically enough isn't it?).
