I know I shouldn't be making posts here, BUT, this is very important.

TIP #1: NEVER, EVER leave your computer on overnight with Web Riddler on, because that's what i did, and I LOST Some of the COOKIES. Please, take this seriously, even if you want to get up in the middle of the night to play Web Riddler, please, once again, close the screen (Even though it might take a long time to login for some people)

Please take this seriously. Thank You.

Happens even if you turn it off, save your passwords instead.

Go to My Controls in the main forum toolbar. In the first page you come to, there's a Handy Dandy Notepad to save your passwords in. smile.gif

It happens on everyone's computer from time to time. Once you reach your limit of Temp Internet Files, it will delete some of your cookies.

Make sure you do keep a list. As Maniac said, he and I use the notepad in Web Riddler. Otherwise a simple text file, or even a pad and pen will do. But make sure you do. THere is little leniency for administrators giving out passwords till Phase X when we don't have proof that you have gotten that far.

From the beginning I decided to use notepad and made a txt file with all my passwords, what phase they are for, and any special info i might need. Wise idea. Plus I sent a copy of it to my email in case my pc crashes I can download it back on. Anyone who reads this would be wise to do so as well.

Also running a virus scan cam sometimes do it. It did for me last night. But yeah it has nothing to do with closing your window or shutting down for the night. I turn my computer off every night and never have to retype passwords.

If you don't come back for a while, it deletes your cookies. blink.gif

"It" doesn't delete your cookies. It depends on the amount of space you have allocated to Temporary Internet Files. If it goes over that limit, older files will be replaced.
