Hi and welcome to Web Riddler. Web Riddler is one of the Internet's only forum riddles. Basically you will begin on Phase 1 where you will have to find the correct password to advance. When you advance to new phases, you may gain access to new forums or be added to new user groups. Most of the riddles/puzzles give you clues as to working out a password for a given forum, however this is not always the case. For example, some phases are simply clues as to where to find the next one. I hope you all enjoy this site and can get as far as possible. Good luck!

Forum Rules
Be sure to check out the Forum Rules. There is a reason we have rules. That reason is so chaos doesnt ensue. Anyway they arent hard rules to go by, so stick to 'em and we will have no problems.

Regarding Passwords
All of the passwords used are one word. Most are 4-8 characters long. There are a few numerical passwords, however the rest are real words. If you have a password that makes no sense then it is probably wrong. There are no spaces in any of the passwords. While they are CAPS sensitive, all passwords will be lower case.

Skipping Phases
While there are a few phases that are actually possible to skip, they are near impossible without previous references. I can also normally tell when you skip a phase. Some threads you find may look completely out of place. This is for a reason. If I discover that you have skipped a phase you will receive an automatic warning.

Some Friendly Advice
Here is some big advice. Keep a record of every password that you receive, what they open and what phase they are for. Whilst active on the forum, you won't need to reenter passwords, but you may need them if you change computers or delete your cookies.

If you are stumped and cant make anything out of what you see, go to the hints page for the Phase you are on. That way you can hopefully find the help you need. By the way there is a page for every phase, so theres no need to create your own.

If you have any advice, suggestions or ideas please PM me, however if you need some help I would prefer that you use the corresponding thread.

PM-ing
On occassion, you will be forced to PM either myself or some other Admin in order to advance. When this is the case, make sure you title your pm properly with the phase you are on and the correct information you would need to send to them. That way we can avoid any unwanted hassle and get you moving along quick.
